At least I can receive stations without cable or satellite charges every month, but the sound is annoying (very flat) and the operation is very frustrating. The onscreen menu is so small I must stand right in front of it to see it, and each setting has it’s own peculiarities. Sometimes I can change the wide screen to normal, sometimes I can’t. I want to get additional speakers, but I can’t find anything with appropriate connections in an acceptable price range. I rarely receive constant, even reception.

This TV (a Vizio 22″ va220e LCD) is okay for the price I paid ($200)… The color is a bit above average, but the sound is horrible! I’ve heard some mini PC speakers that sound better. I use this TV in the bedroom, and it suffices. So, if you’re looking for an LCD TV of this size, I’d recommend you find one with better sound quality.

It’s not a terrible TV. The sound isn’t the best but I guess that’s what you get for the price you pay.

You only get a excellent picture if you are right in front of it. If you go to either side, the picture changes drastically for the worse… Sound is tinny…
