I bought this mount from Mountplus after reading the overwhelming positive reviews. While, the mount turns out to be not that fantastic at all. My installer said the price was excellent, but the quality was dissapointing. I got what I paid for. The mount sagged straight away when the TV was set onto it. Oh my god, my TV looked like that it was taking a nose dive. We tried our best to adjust but can not right the problem. The installer said the arms are too long and too weak to support the weight. My TV is a 58 in Panasonic, weighs 108 lbs. So I finished up to buy a mount from the installer and now my TV is set safely on the new wall mount.
Returning the mount costs too much in postage so I chose to just forget it. It is a huge piece of junk in my garage. I got my lesson.
My suggestion is, don’t be fooled by the dirty cheap price and those reviews. God knows if those reviews were really written by a right buyer, or from someone paid by the seller.

I had a special need for my wall mount. The location I wanted to place the TV is surrounded by Ikea cabinetry that is 16″ deep, and I still wanted to be able to pull out the 50″ Plasma and turn it to view from the kitchen. Finding a bracket that will extend past 24″ is hard. Imagine my delight when I found this bracket that goes to 33″ AND is far cheaper than anything I’ve seen. I was worried by the one terrible review, but figured I had to give it a go.
WOW. This thing is incredible. I can’t imagine it sagging in any possible way. I reckon the person who said it does must have had a terrible connection to the wall, or the wall was flexing, cause this thing is as sturdy as a train rail.
The only downside is the instructions are a small lacking, and very fluent in Engrish. My favorite is “Note: There are 8 positions for option. Moves the adapter bracket and uses the screws fixedly.” But if you can place together anything from Ikea, you can handle installing it. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

I bought a 50 inch panasonic g15 plasma on black friday, so i needed a mount that could hold the television safely. Not only does this mount look fantastic it extends 30 inches away from the wall and retracts back to 4 inches from the wall, me and my father installed this above my fire place, its jaw dropping how strong it is. This mount is so strong that i did pull ups on it after it was mounted, and i weigh 190lbs!!!! it will hold any tv simple.

After reading all the reviews, I chose to go with this mount. After installing it on the wall, I extended it all the way out an hung on the end of it (I weigh 205 lb.) to test it out. It had no problem supporting my weight, I mean NO problem. I then installed my Panasonic 65″ plasma (133 lb.). It holds it very well and securely. The instructions do stink, so if you’re not mechanically inclined, you may have distress. The instructions say it only goes up to a 63″ and the item subscription on Amazon says 65″. The instructions do say it can support 200 lbs. I had to flip the tv mounting plates in order for it to fit my tv (it doesn’t affect the mechanical integrity of the unit). One note, I installed washers on the bolts that go though the unit into the wall stud. The bolts that come with the mount are beefy enough, but the head of the bolt in my view doesn’t grab a hold of enough metal on the mount. Pre drill your holes of course in the center of a stud and then use a excellent wood glue as a lubricant to install your bolts into the stud.
For the one terrible review that said it could not support their tv and the tv looked like it was going to nose dive into the floor. I can only say that maybe they received a defective product or maybe the installer didn’t install it correctly (maybe on purpose) and benefited by selling them something else (made money on a sale AND labor). Whatever the case, I can attest that this is a well made solid product and does what it’s supposed to, hold your tv securely on the wall.

I have a 50″ 80# Panasonic Plasma and the mount works fantastic. My 75# daughter swang from it fully extended and then her two 70# friends did pull ups, it went 1/8″. I’m 240#, got below it, gave it a hard yank, and felt confident that it’ll hold my prized plasma.
If you’re on this site, you are a do-it-yourselfer and should not be imtimidated by the installation. I place it together on the carpet before I place it on the wall for a visual of how it all works. Just be ready to adjust the bracket to the TV several times before it’s lined up. Bolt the mount to the wall (I used 4 more 3″ lag bolts than the 4 provided). Attach the bracket to the TV . And then attach the screen w bracket to the mount.
Toughest part is picking up and lining up the screen. I had my plasma on a credenza, left the stand on w a few screws, and slipped books under it to get it close while wife and son held it. I tipped it and got one bolt in, then another,… Do not do this alone or w 1 other friend. Get some muscle and have 2 others hold the screen to the mount and power the bolts in.
I was very careful to ensure the mount was level to the wall, the brackets were level to the screen, and then the attachment was level as well. You should do this, but I learned that the attachment will ‘swivel’ +-5 degrees and hold itself. This is an added feature that they should list. Very nice.
Only complaint is that the instructions should be larger font and mark the bolts accordingly.
Excellent luck and pleased shopping.
