Hilarious! The hacker’s OWN ebaY!

ebay is a perilous site.

IT has unrepaired critical xss flaws.

IT has had numerous user’s data leaks.

IT has poorly trained, pathetic customer service LIVEHELP reps, who have given their official OK to OBVIOUS SCAMS!!!

IT has NO GUARANTEE!

And when the deal goes terrible, well too terrible for you! YOU ARE SCREWED! (cuz they are “just a venue”

Best to avoid the entire site like the plague.

There are many better, safer, more trustworthy places to buy and sell.

Simple as that.

Items we see are:

Should I buy this Toshiba lcd, is it a good deal?
Saturday, January 30th, 2010 | Author:

26” Toshiba 1080P LCD, 2 years ancient and in excellent condition.

I offered $285(Canadian), they accepted. Should I buy it?

The same tv is for sell at Future Shop for $450.
I’d be getting a 37% discount on buying it used. It’s exactly 1year 10months ancient.

Only ONE problem….NO WARRANTY and that’s AFTER it’s been shipped to you.

Make sure it’s WELL INSURED for the value of a new TV should shipping hurt occur…..

We want to buy a nice size TV and God knows there are a billion different ones….LCD, DLP, Rear Projection blah blah blah. We came across a deal for a 50in Sony Rear Proj. tv (model kdf50e2000) and I was wondering what can anyone tell me terrible or excellent about this TV? How about newer rear projection TVs in general? Is sunlight a real issue? Is it higher maintanance aside from the bulb replacement?

Sony sets are generally fantastic sets. They do not have such a problem with the "screen door effect" that most other LCD RPTV sets have. This is when you get close to the set, you can really see the squares that make up the picture, it looks like you are looking through a screen door. As for the other person who posted a problem with the Sony they have. Replacement is NOT the first line of defense. That is why you have a warranty. Find an authorized Sony service center (like me) and get them to repair it. If they cannot repair the set, then Sony would replace the set. Folks have the thought that says, if there is a problem just take it back and the store will replace it. Some, in fact do this. They do so, and are NOT authorized to do this by the manufacturer. Sony built the set, and they are responsible for getting it right during the warranty period. The Wal-Mart syndrome has folks jaded into thinking the warranty is excellent for exchange without other recourse, that’s simply NOT right. We have sold Sony equipment for several years now, and I usually do not see them in for service until either, they have been hit by lightning, or they have 3-5 years on them (barring the occasional lamp failure). I cannot remember the last time we filed a Sony warranty claim. I just stay in the loop with them to take advantage of their training, service material and support.

Panasonic 42 inch plasma tv-advice please?
Saturday, January 30th, 2010 | Author:

dose anyone have one? what are the pros & cons of it?
also, i can get one with free shipping & free wall mount for $748.18. Is this a excellent deal? i have not been able to find one cheaper. thanks. :)

That is a phenom price….as long as it is 1080p……the wall mount alone costs 100.00 +….

i am plotting to buy a 40 or 42 inch tv just for playing games on my playstation3, i am getting a few options and i am confused to pick …which one shall i go for a 720p with higher dynamic contrast ratio or 1080p with somewhat lower dynamic contrast ratio?….i would highly appreciate if anyone could please suggest a excellent deal :) ..i look for a samsung, sony or lg.

I would certainly go for a 1080p television. Also do not buy a tv based on the specs like contrast ratio ,brightness, or any other specs the manufacturer lists. There is no standard for which tv manufacturers all use to calculate their television’s specs. They all use their own way to reach the specs they advertise. So there really is no way to compare tv’s based on the specs the manufacturer lists. The best way to find the best tv is to read reviews for tv’s online and really go to the store and compare for yourself. An brilliant website to check out for tv reviews is: http://reviews.cnet.com/televisions/?tag=TOCleftColumn.0
