Sunday, February 21st, 2010 | Author:

I don’t know if i should buy a TV now or after Christmas. I’m trying to get the best deal possible…right now ive seen

Toshiba 40RV525U for $627
Sharp LC32D64U for $584
Samsung LN32A550 for $627

They are all 1080p
Can somebody tell me which would be better buy and will they be cheaper after Christmas or before?

Of those you show, grab the Toshiba! Before or after Xmas? No one can accurately predict price fluctuations!

It’s been used for 4 years and 3 hours a day for about a few days a week but in brilliant condition..what do you guys reckon, should i buy it? i heard its sony’s best crt tv when i read it in the reviews..also superb picture quality when playing video games or watching dvds…help

still a phenomenal picture if you can deal with the MASSIVE size. If so I say do it.

I was wondering if anyone would give me the skinny regarding why Panasonic TVs look so much better at Best Buy, and Samsungs look better at Frys.

I was told by a girl at Best Buy that the employees get hooked up by Panasonic for fantastic deals on TVs, to encourage their employees to push Panasonics. The Panasonics looks very excellent, and the Samsung looked kinda dull. She wouldn’t let me mess with the settings on the 50 inch plasmas because she said they were already perfectly calibrated. Right.

Then I go to Fry’s, where they run Samsung ads all day on their show sets, and lo and behold, the Samsungs look incredible and the Panasonics look dull.

It’s impossible to make a excellent choice about a HDTV, anyone with me?

and if u go into wal-mart; the visio’s look fantastic there. every huge box retailer has a brand they push more than others. we don’t get hooked-up; we get employee appreciation discounts from there website or in the store; lol. don’t worry so much about how the TV looks on the sales floor; guess what? it will never look like that in ur home. get a calibration DVD, and use it when u get it home. a fantastic DVD player, fantastic cables, and clean power will all help ur new HDTV picture look awesome. so if u really want the best, be prepared to pay the best.
