Blunty3000 is joining forces with Toshiba to Give away a Portégé R600 to celebrate it being named the greenest notebook on the planet according to Greenpeaces second annual Green Electronics Survey, 2008.

That means it’s free, you win it, it’s yours, take it home, give it a name and pet it and caress it and dance a small inside, place fallout boy stickers on it, write in your emo blog, make youtube videos mocking my huge stout head, use it as a brutal machine of ultimate wifi freedom carnage at the airport, hey it’s your new notebook computer you won it honest and square, do what you like with it.

so why do it? simply, I was questioned if I’d like to help run it and I said yes, because the concept was fun, I get to give away a frikkin sweet laptop computer to one of my viewers, and also, many many years ago I owned an early Portégé model (back in the days of pentium III chips) and it was WAY ahead of it’s time, pretty much a “netbook” a excellent decade before we started calling them that, it was tiny, it weighed nearly nothing, it was truly ultra portable, and I bloody loved it, fantastic machine, never let me down.

So I’m a fan of what Toshiba do, with their dedication to making excellent gear, and now even more so with their strong commitment to environmental responsibility…. I am but, TRYING to score a freebie R600 from them hehe,(hey if ya don’t question you’ll never get ) because I’m pretty impressed by the R600, and a man like me can really use a excellent tough road-warrior machine (I do have a 9 inch netbook, but those small guys have some limits I smash into from time to time).
