what else stores have nice plasma tvs for about 1000 and under? im looking for something at least 42 inches.
Best buy will have a 42 panasonic plasma for 999.99. That a excellent tv for a fantastic price. Its not some no name TV like the other places are selling.
50 inch they have a toshiba plasma. again really excellent tv for 1699.99

Ran into a excellent deal on a fantastic used 42" TV buyer wanted $950 but lowered to $850. Is this a gooddeal or should I pay the extra $400 or so for a 42” 1080p

I would take that $200 gift card and BUY a Denon Dolby amp….
THEN I would buy the 1080P TV set for $400 more….
WHY?
Because even though it’s an $850 Panasonic Plasma….I would worry that the guy selling it is selling it because it’s LEMONY-FRESH…..smells lemony, tastes lemony and you would be buying all that LEMONY goodness that he no longer wanted…..
It would keep me awake at nights…..
Even if it wasn’t lemony excellent….uh, er terrible I mean.
